Welcome to Pasadena High School - Home of the Bulldogs.  School begins on Monday, August 18th.

Attendance
The Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education has established the following policies in relation to attendance:
  • Students shall attend school regularly and punctually
  • Pasadena High School is a closed campus.  Students shall not leave school premises during school hours without prior permission from a parent/guardian and consent of the principal or designee.

Regular attendance is associated with success at school.  Many prospective employers, colleges, and branches of the armed services ask the office for attendance information on students.  It is very important that a student attend school regularly.

If a student has more than 35 period absences during the school year (three tardies equals one unexcused period absence), they are ineligible for extracurricular activities-dances and games.  Please not that this means that seniors will lose their privileges to attend Prom, GradNite and marching in Graduation Ceremonies.  While recognizing the importance of graduation ceremonies, the Board also desires to maintain high standards of student conduct and behavior.  The principal may deny the privilege of participating in these ceremonies in accordance with school rules whic provide for due process. BP 5127(a). See below on how to report and clear an absence.

Students who accumulate 3 or more tardies during a 5-day period will be assigned after-school detention in the auditorium Fridays from 3:15 -4:15 pm.  Failure to attend will result in automatic Saturday School.

Please note: flowers, balloons and other deliveries will NOT be accepted at the school.
NO EXCEPTIONS
. Please plan accordingly.
